Claypool was living in Ludlow, Illinois at the time of his disappearance. He was possibly last seen on State Road 32 near Perrysville, Indiana and State Road 63 in Covington, Indiana on September 4, 2005. On September 6, his blue and gray 1979 Toyota pickup truck was found on State Road 63 in Perrysville. Claypool has never been heard from again. Few details are available in his case.
