Schaefer was last seen in Ormond Beach, Florida on April 11, 2018. She had no permanent address but was staying at a residence on Linville Road, and was last seen there. Schaefer has never been heard from again. She left her purse, medications and other belongings behind, as well as her dog. Prior to her disappearance, she had stayed in near-daily contact with her family and had not been known to leave the state. Her case remains unsolved.
