Missing Since: 2005-03-12 Location: Jacksonville Beach, Florida

Details

Harley’s family last heard from her in 2003. She was living in the Jacksonville Beach / Ponte Vedra area of Florida and working as a stripper on a casino boat in Jacksonville, Florida, as well as part time at a golf course. The Jacksonville Beach Police Department had contact with Harley on March 12, 2005; they found her sleeping in a green 1999 Ford Explorer and she told them she was homeless. There has been no indication of her whereabouts since then. Harley’s boyfriend is a person of interest in her case, but he has hired an attorney and refused to speak to police. It was his vehicle she was sleeping in when the police encountered her. A photo of a similar car is posted with this case summary. The Ford Explorer’s vehicle identification number (VIN) is 1FMYU22X5XUB47426. After Harley’s disappearance, the vehicle was sold to an undocumented person in the Blackshear, Georgia area. The police don’t know what happened to it after that, but would like to locate it. Harley’s case remains unsolved, and authorities stated that although there is no evidence of foul play, the passage of time made her disappearance suspicious.
