Hosmer was last seen at his sister’s residence in Sacramento, California on May 31, 2016. He left the residence during the early morning hours with two unidentified men in an unidentified vehicle. According to his mother, a few weeks later he called and said he had been abandoned in Tennessee and needed money. His mother wired him some money. He has never been heard from again. Hosmer wasn’t working at the time of his disappearance and led a transient lifestyle, following the band the Grateful Dead all over the country to attend their concerts.
